Art and Travel Inspiration: My Journey to #GoodMood Paintings

Why did I decide to write a blog and started to learn and train to do #goodmood paintings. Let’s start!:)

But then our family’s discussions around the dining led to another thought: why not make it into a bigger idea?

Sketch in Paris, en plein air
This is a sketch of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It showcases dynamic lines and colors. This image captures the essence of a moment in the artist’s journey.

I have published about 500 paintings, both in oil and watercolor. I completed both my Portrait certificate and Landscape diploma. I have also taken several watercolor courses. Now I am a student of Illustration course. Life is full of new experience.

Additionally, I successfully planned 30 art and architecture journeys. During each journey, I visited and painted an average of 5- 10 cities and places. So why not share Art and Travel knowledge with my new and experienced artist colleagues? These colleagues and lovers of culture admire architecture and museums.

Looking back to my over a decade ( almost 15 years:) experience, I realized how much I have learned. I would like to contribute to people who enjoy painting and producing sketches during city and beach vacations. Whether painting in their own city, visiting museums, or exploring architecture, there’s so much to share. People enjoy drawing others on the street or visitors in museums. I also look to share knowledge with those learning about other countries’ customs through national festivals or concerts.

An illustration showcasing a travel-sized watercolor palette, featuring essential painting tools and materials for artists on the go.

I will share my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm in all areas. For example, I will show how to not be afraid to learn something new in painting. I will explain how to start doing sketches in front of other people in museums, on streets, and at airports. I will also help you find interesting paths in any city. I find it difficult to stay in one place for too long. I want to explore everywhere.

French riviera
A vibrant watercolor painting captures a coastal town with colorful buildings. The serene waters are reminiscent of the artist’s explorations along the French Riviera.

I admit I love French Riviera and their sunny lazy beaches ….but even there, I find the need to go for one-day trips as I continue exploring.

I will also examine the architecture of Barcelona’s La Sagrada Familia. I will illustrate these similarities to provide insight. I will also explore the monumental ruins of the Roman Empire in Rome. Additionally, Provence’s cities and Cordoba’s cathedral in Spain will be included.

Venice festival, Mask
A captivating painting of a figure in a purple robe, absorbed in reading, showcasing the artist’s skill and unique style.

I will share my tips on how to paint the Grand Canal in Venice. I’ll also explain why frescoes in Germany remind me of Shagal’s painting in the museum in Nice. I have lots of material. My start point was the year 2019. Then, I will go backward to earlier years’ drawings and paintings.

I will use my notes and plan vacations’ artistic and traveling trips. I will share my secrets on how to do art and travel at the same time.

You’ll learn about making original frames for your artwork. I will also share other fun things.

You are welcome to join Art and Travel Club with me:)
